About TEN

TEN Virtual Tour

Live Production Switcher

This is used for remote events, such as Graduation Ceremonies and public meetings. We have also used it in the past to cover comedy night, coffee house, and hypnotist shows. Video is recorded digitally for output to DVD, VHS, or to computers for post-production editing.

PAC Live Production

Our live production equipment in the Performing Arts Center Auditorium is almost always in use. District Public Hearings, Deliberative Sessions, and High School Awards Night are all televised live. Many high school and middle school events are recorded for later broadcast on TEN. PAC Tech Crew also records nearly all district concerts held in the auditorium for broadcast and archival uses.

PAC Robotic Cameras

Our PAC system includes two robotic cameras for remote operation directly from the control room. This enhances our operation in minimum-staff situations. Some of our larger productions are done with student crews and as many as four cameras.

Post-Production at TRHS

Here, staff and students edit video with Adobe Premiere Elements, make VHS/DVD transfers, and produce programs on DVD. At any given time there is plenty of clutter to accompany the various productions in progress.

Broadcast DVD Decks

Programming submitted to TEN is broadcast in DVD format. This ensures minimal wear and tear that would normally occur with tape media, and most program DVD's are archived after broadcast. To the lower right, you can see the iPod that generates music to accompany our message board.

Message Board Computer

Announcements submitted to TEN are posted on a looping message board, which runs in between TEN programming.

Broadcast Equipment

Decks are programmed for automated playback, and sound/video adjustments are made before our feed is sent out to cable TV.
