The Timberlane Regional School District, in partnership with the Plaistow Police Department, is pleased to announce the appointment of Officer Sonya Robicheau as School Campus Resource Officer beginning school year 2015-16.

Officer Robicheau graduated from Exeter High School, earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Mount Washington College, and has completed the 157th police academy class of the New Hampshire Police Academy.  Serving with the Plaistow Police Department since 2011, she currently resides in Exeter, New Hampshire with her husband, Patrick (an Exeter Firefighter), and her daughter.

As School Campus Resource Officer, Officer Robicheau will work with high school and middle school administrators to promote a safe and healthy school environment as well as provide additional resources designed to enhance our educational programs.

Officer Robicheau looks forward to working with the student population and providing an approachable resource for problem solving that emphasizes the essential principles and skills necessary for responsible citizenship.  School administrators welcome a campus resource officer as part of the district’s plan to align offerings to grades 6 through 12 and anticipate a successful coordinated effort.
