The first sushi event at the school will be headed by Whitsons Culinary Groups’ Chef Ryan Hurley. Chef Hurley will be training his team, and together, they will prepare a few varieties of cooked, non-‐‑raw sushi dishes such as, California rolls, Vegetable rolls, Avocado and Cream cheese rolls, and Shrimp Rolls with Spicy Sriracha sauce. Over 100 portions of sushi are expected to be served. The success of the event may lead to prepared sushi meals being offered to students of Timberlane High School on an ongoing basis.
