Plaistow Lions Partner with Pollard School for Vision and Hearing Screening
The Timberlane Regional School District is pleased to announce yet another community partnership project. The Plaistow Lions Club will assist Pollard School with Vision and Hearing screenings on Monday, October 3rd. Preschool and Kindergarten students will undergo a quick and non-invasive eye and ear test to determine if further testing is necessary. Early intervention is key when it comes to learning!
Our community Lions Clubs are valued district sponsors who regularly promote projects and initiatives that support our students and community as a whole. Recent Club projects include a drug awareness program (Chucky’s Fight) and the Lions Power Pack program.
Dr. Metzler states, “Timberlane is fortunate to boast so many community partnerships and volunteers. Whether it be parent teacher organizations, booster clubs, civic groups or business partners, the outpouring of community participation in our schools is amazing. People make great schools and we have some great people.”
