Summer Enrichment Programs

SUMMER EXPERIENCES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTSMany colleges and private high school academies offer programs for high school students during the summers before their senior year. There are many great reasons for highly motivated students to consider enrolling in one. Students have the opportunity to explore subjects they are interested in; see what college life is like at an institution they may be interested in; experience living away from home; have the chance to meet new people, possibly from around the world, as well as give a boost to their college application.

Below is just a sampling of summer opportunities. Students will need to apply to most programs, and may be required to submit a transcript, standardized test scores, an essay, or may need a nomination from their school.  Although they can be expensive,   these enriching experiences can be invaluable for highly motivated students wanting to make the most of their summer time.
