Timberlane Uses New App to Assist in School Dismissals

April 4, 2017

The Timberlane Regional School District is pleased to announce the implementation of an award winning program called PickUp Patrol designed to make school dismissals easier, safer and more convenient.  The application will currently be available for grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade.  Parents and guardians can use their smart phones, tablets or even a computer with Internet access to submit plan changes replacing the need for notes and phone calls.  Parents and guardians were sent an email invite Monday, April 3rd to their addresses on file with the district to sign up and use Pickup Patrol.  Pickup Patrol allows parents and guardians to schedule plan changes days, weeks or even months in advance.  Parents and guardians will receive a confirmation email when changes are submitted.

“Pickup Patrol offers a safe and convenient way for parents to submit plan changes while also freeing up more time schools can devote to our students and their learning.” – Ken Henderson, Technology Director

“We are pleased to offer our parents an efficient and effective tool that will support them in managing our home to school communications. Providing more time for our staff members to focus on student learning aligns well with our mission to increase rigor, accountability, evaluation and support which drives student achievement. ” – Dr. Metzler
