Winter Sports Tryouts and Practice Start Dates

Reminder Athletes must have up-to-date physicals on file with the school nurse.  Any athlete interested in playing a contact sport must also have an up to date ImPACT test.

Boys Basketball: Tryouts  & Practice

MONDAY 12/3: @ Middle School

  • Freshmen:  7:00-8:15 pm
  • Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors: 8:00-9:15 pm


  • Freshmen:  3:00-5:00 pm @ Danville Elementary.  Bus 109 – All students should have a bus pass from parents to ride the bus for the week. (Overload will be directed to bus 127.)
  • Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors: 2:30 – 4:30 @ Plaistow YMCA. Bus 124 – All students should have a bus pass from parents to ride the bus for the week.

With great pride and enthusiasm, the Timberlane Athletic Department is pleased to announce its Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for 2019.

ImPACT Testing for Winter 2018-2019

ImPACT testing has been scheduled for athletes playing contact sports in the Winter 2018-2019 season.

Anyone who has not tested previously should report to the Library at 2:00 to take the test on the following days.  (Grade 9 and 11 students as well as any student who has not been tested)
  • Monday, November 5 (Wrestling / Ski)
  • Wednesday, November 7 (B/G Basketball)
  • Thursday, November 8 (Hockey / Spirit)

Congratulations to the Class of 2018 Senior Athletes

On Monday, June 4th, the Class of 2018 Senior Athletes were honored at the Atkinson Country Club for their participation in the Timberlane High School Athletic Department programs.  The guest speaker this year was Danielle Gajewski who was a 3 Sport Athlete while at Timberlane and went on to be an outstanding runner for the UNH Track Team.

Athletes honored at the event were Kiley Fitzpatrick and Connor Ross as the Most Outstanding Senior Athletes.

The Owl Award for Character was presented to Hannah Sorensen and Al Barney.

The Athletic Director’s Award was presented to Robert Horgan and Blake-Mari Watkins for  their dedication, growth and strong work ethic.

Also recognized for their dedication to Timberlane Sports receiving the Loyalty Award were the following Athletes:

Christian Allaire, Alfred Barney, Kylie Fitzpatrick, Brendan Frezza
Robert Horgan, Jacob Huberdeau, Olivia Marshall, Meghan Oliver
Matthew Perry, Jacob Post, Connor Ross, Connor Schott, Hannah Sorensen.

Mim Ryan, who has been coaching and teaching at Timberlane for 18 years,  was recognized for her dedication, success and compassion as she will retire at the end of this year.  Mim has been the Field Hockey Coach for the past 18 years and most recently led her Owls to back to back State Championships in 2016 and 2017.

2018 -2019 Sports Registration is NOW OPEN

The Athletic Department Sports Registration link for the 2018-2019 School Year is now OPEN!   Registration will remain open until July 16.

Reminder that if your child is planning on playing a contact sport they must have an updated ImPACT test on file.  Tests are valid for 2 years, all Juniors and Incoming Freshman must take the test before the start of the Fall Sports Season if they are planning on playing a Fall Sport.  Your child must be registered using the link above in order to be tested.  Testing will also be offered in the Winter and Spring as well.

ImPACT Testing Dates: 

Incoming Freshman  will be tested at the Middle School during PE classes June 11-14.

Testing for current High School students will be completed in the Library Computer Lab at 2:30 on the following days:
Monday, June 11 Football
Tuesday, June 12 Boys’/Girls’ Soccer  
Wednesday, June 13Cheer 
Thursday,  June 14, Field Hockey/Volleyball


All Athletes must have a current physical on file with the School Nurse in order to participate.
