As was communicated last month, the TRSD Technology Department will need to perform an important update on ALL Chromebooks taken home for the summer by incoming 7th and 10th graders. If your student took home their Chromebook for the summer, we will need you to bring the Chromebook to the high school between the hours of 8am and 2pm on one of the following three dates:
Thursday July 12th
Wednesday August 1st
or Tuesday August 21st.
If the update is not completed the Chromebook will not work after August 21st and will be updated on a first-come, first-served basis at the beginning of the school year.
The update only takes a couple of minutes once started.
If your student did NOT take the Chromebook home for the summer then their Chromebook will be updated and stored in the Technology office and returned to him or her at the start of next year.
