Senior Prom Pictures

A reminder that tickets for the Senior Prom – Starry Night are on sale at all lunches through Friday, May 5th.  Tickets are $65 for a single ticket and $120 for two tickets.  Senior Dues must be paid before prom tickets can be purchased.

The Senior Prom is a special night for seniors as they enjoy and celebrate a wonderful evening with their classmates.  Students will have the opportunity to commemorate the evening with pictures taken by Geskus Photography.  Please click on the link below for the order form for pictures to be taken at the prom.  Order forms will also be available at the prom.

Seniors Share their Timberlane HS Success Stories with Incoming Freshmen Class of 2021!

As part of the high school transition program for grade 8 students entering 9th grade in the fall, a panel of seniors had the opportunity to share their unique and successful journeys through four years of high school.   As their school career winds down, each senior spoke about the benefits of getting involved at Timberlane through academic opportunities, leadership positions, service organizations, clubs, and teams.  The seniors selected for the panel represented students with a variety of interests, passions and abilities.  Together, they showcased just how wonderful our students are and the many great opportunities that exist for Timberlane students.

Senior Prom – May 19th

Spring is an exciting time at TRHS as we enjoy and celebrate the remaining time we have with the Class of 2017.  One of our first end-of-the year events is the Senior Prom which is scheduled for Friday, May 19th at the Atkinson Country Club.  The Senior Prom Walk will begin at 6:30 followed by dinner and dancing.

Tickets for the Senior Prom will go on sale Tuesday, April 18th and will be sold through Friday, May 5th.  Tickets are $65 each, $120 if bought as a pair.  Only seniors who have paid their Senior Dues, which are $65, will be eligible to purchase Prom tickets.  Checks can be made out to TRHS.  If a senior is bringing a date from outside of TRHS, they must complete a guest form before purchasing their tickets.  Seniors will choose their tables when they purchase their tickets and will not be allowed to change their seats later.

Graduation – June 10th, 2017

Timberlane Regional High School is pleased to announce that the Commencement Ceremonies – Graduation – for the Class of 2017 will be Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at 10:00 am.  We are looking forward to celebrating this wonderful achievement with the Class of 2017 and their families and guests.

Department Honor Society Applications

Applications for Art Honor Society, English Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Rho Kappa (Social Studies) Honor Society, and Science Honor Society are now available.  Students may obtain an application from the advisors for each Honor Society, at the Guidance Office, at the Administration Office, or by clicking on one of the links below.  Students should check each application for eligibility and requirements.

Acceptance to an honor society highlights a student’s academic excellence and passion in a particular area of study.  Students who are members of the honor societies at Timberlane Regional High School provide invaluable peer tutoring and community service to the Timberlane community that truly helps to make a difference.

Applications are due on Friday, April 14th by 2:30 pm for the Art, English, Math, and Science Honor Societies.  Applications for the Rho Kappa Honor Society are due Friday, April 21st by 2:30 pm due to current members involvement in the World’s Faire which is scheduled for April 21st at TRHS.  Students should bring completed applications to the advisors for each Honor Society or the Administration Office.

Thursday Night’s One-Act Performances Cancelled

Due to the snow storm and the missed school days, that the Thursday evening performance of the student written One-Act plays has been cancelled.  The Friday Night and Saturday night performances are still on.  Both shows are in the PAC Recital Hall.  Tickets are only $5.00 and both shows start at 7:00 p.m.

Parent Teacher Conferences – Thursday, March 16th

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Timberlane Regional High School.  Parents may sign up for conferences beginning Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at 8:00 am using the online conference scheduler which can be found at the link below.

Practice Block Days and Weather

A reminder that the high school is scheduled to begin two days of practice for block scheduling, tomorrow, Thursday, February 16th and Friday, February 17th.  Please click on the following link for the bell schedule for each day.

Practice Block Days – Bell Schedule

According to various weather reports, there is a possibility that there could be weather conditions that will impact the school day.  Please review the following weather-related scenarios and how they would affect the schedule for tomorrow.

Scenario 1 – 2 Hour Delayed Opening

The high school will move forward with the practice block scheduling day but will be utilizing a modified bell schedule.  Please click on the following link for the modified bell schedule.

Practice Block Days – 2 Hour Delay

Scenario 2 – No School with an Online Learning/Blizzard Bag Day

Blizzard bags will be provided for students for all of their assigned classes.  Students will follow regular blizzard bag procedures.

The practice day scheduled for Thursday will be moved to Monday, February 20th.  The practice day scheduled for Friday will continue as scheduled.

Scenario 3 – No School and is a Traditional Snow Day

The practice day scheduled for Thursday will be moved to Monday, February 20th.  The practice day scheduled for Friday will continue as scheduled.

Practice Days for Block Scheduling

Beginning the 2017-2018 school year, the middle and high schools will be implementing a block schedule to improve our instructional offerings and better meet the needs of our students.  In preparation for this change the middle school and high school will conduct practice days.  The high school’s practice days will be Thursday, February 16th and Friday, February 17th with the schedule as follows:

  • Students will attend their odd period classes (Periods 1, 3, 5, and 7) on Thursday, the 16th.

  • Students will attend their even period classes (Periods 2, 4, 6, and 8) on Friday the 17th.

This schedule will result in a slightly different lunch schedule depending on what classes are meeting.  Please click on the link below for a more detailed schedule for each day.
