Understanding College Financial Award Letters & Financing Options

If you have a student heading off to a college as a freshman for Fall 2019, this presentation is for you. We encourage you to bring your student’s award packages with you as we will discuss the components of the financial aid award package, including federal student loans, grants & scholarships, and walk you through how to analyze what your student was offered. If you do not have an award letter yet, that’s fine! We will provide a sample for you to use.
Also, additional funding/financing options will be discussed as well as a review of what repayment may mean to your family. All attendees will receive Funding Options handouts. Presented by Val Castonquay from NHHEAF.
