Principal’s Welcome Letter
Dear Pollard School Community,
I hope that you are all enjoying time with your children this summer. I am extremely excited to join the Pollard School community as your new Principal and kick off the 2022-23 school year. Pollard has been providing a quality education for many years and I am honored to have the privilege of helping lead the school into the future. I am eager to meet all of you and learn more details about the whole community, especially getting into the classrooms to meet students and learn how best to support teachers and staff. I am also excited to meet families at the upcoming open house on August 24th and other events this year. I believe strongly in providing students with a positive school culture and climate through maintaining active partnerships between administration, teachers, staff, students, and their families.
I will begin my position on August 18th, and plan to jump right into getting the school year off to a wonderful start. I know that other staff members have been working very hard over the summer to ensure a smooth transition into the next school year. Thank you to all of them for their hard work and dedication.
I have over twenty years of experience in education, including seven years as an elementary school principal. I am thrilled to bring my experience to the school and collaborate with this exceptional team to continue to provide a nurturing learning environment for all. My work has always been guided by doing what is best for children and supporting staff and families, so that together we can achieve the best outcomes. I look forward to learning more from this amazing community, and will remain committed to the team’s professional development, and staying current on best practices for our amazing students.
