Senior Parent Night for College Bound Seniors

Topics include a review of Junior Parent Night information, testing information, application deadlines, the common application, letters of recommendation, and types of scholarships. The process and protocols for applying to college through the guidance office will be reviewed.

Financial Aid Information for Parents of College Bound Seniors

The focus of the presentation will be on the Federal Financial Aid Form (FAFSA) and the types of aid available. Funding options, scholarship searches and the importance of deadlines were also discussed. Presented by Val Castonguay from the Center for College Planning at NHHEAF (New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation) and Barry Chooljian, Director of Guidance. Junior Parent Information Night

Parents of the Class of 2021 are invited to review the post-secondary planning process, including an introduction to Naviance, our college and career planning resource, college selections, applications, visitations, deadlines and an introduction to financial aid.

 

Paying for College 101
April 2 , 2020, 6:30 PM,  PAC Recital Hall

This evening program helps families understand and evaluate financial aid packages. We discuss such issues as reporting outside scholarships, financing options, avoiding scholarship scams and writing special circumstance letters. Attendees will receive assorted reference materials. Presented by Val Castonquay of NHHEAF Network.
