DAILY BULLETIN: Monday (2/3)

  • There will be a Spanish Language Lunch this Thursday 2/6 periods 4-7 in room 215. All Spanish students and teachers are welcome!
  • There will also be an open Spanish study session with Ms. Widman this Thursday form 2:30 – 3:30 in room 215. All students are welcome!
  • The wrestling team remained undefeated and improved their season record to 20-0 this weekend by winning the new Fairfield duals tournament. In the finals the Owls defeated the number 1 ranked team in Connecticut Danbury, by a score of 33-29. Time McLinden won the final match of the dual in dramatic fashion with an overtine win that secured the win for the team. Seniors Mike Digregorio, Shawn Grenier and Zach Stewart had big wins in the dual as well as underclassmen Brian Lonergan, Dan Scalzo, Ryan Peters and Cam Altobelli. CONGRATULATIONS TO ENTIRE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The Poetry Club will be meeting after school tomorrow in the writing lab. New members always welcome.
  • There will be a  math honor society meeting this Wednesday after school in room 204. All members please attend. Please see Mrs.Mascioli jor Mrs.Daneau if you can not attend.
  • The boys and girls track teams competed in the Division 1 State meet last night. The girls were lead by Danielle Gajewski placing second in the 600 meter run and 5th in the 55 meter dash. The girls 4 by  400 meter relay team which included Alicia Ross, Jessie Secxton, Danielle Gajewski, and Megan Tarr also qualified for New Englands placing 5th. The boys were lead by Liam Kimball, Pat Casey, Ben Enos, and James Busi in the 4 by 400 meter relay which ran a season best and placed 4th overall.
