Plaistow – Plaistow Public Library has announced a new program series for parents and children, titled Fit Families, focused on mind/body health and wellness.  The series will offer a variety of programs falling within the themes physical health, parenting, and safety.  The series kicks off this month and runs through the fall.

 

The first program in the series is “Smart But Scattered Teens, ” presented by Peg Dawson, EdD., who specializes in the assessment of children and adults with learning and attention disorders.  The event will be held on March 19, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.  Registration is suggested.  Other upcoming programs will focus on safe technology use; bike, driving, and household safety; blended families; healthy eating; and family physical fitness.
