Daily Bulletin: Tuesday 2/17

  • The word of the week is: Examine 
  • Math Challenge of the Week:  What is the rate of snowfall per minute when the snow if falling 4 inches per hour? 
  • Photography is cancelled this week. 
  • Attention MS Ski Club Members: During advisory on Thursday (2/19), please stop by Mrs.  Hampe’s office in the 8th grade wing to pick up a packet of information.  Room 1517, near the art rooms. 
  • The Girls B Basketball Team pizza party is tomorrow (2/18) after school.  Please bring $4.00 and your uniform. 
  • 6th Grade Basketball starts today (2/17)! It is for any 6th grade boy or girl.  It will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.  You can take the late bus home.  Come improve your skills and have some fun.  
  • Popcorn Fundraiser on Friday (2/20) .50 a bag. 
  • TRMS students Dan Lewis, Adrian Suciu, Chris Longchamp, Ethan Pelletier, Nick Longchamp and Jack Pepin did an excellent job at the regional Mathcounts Competition. Congratulations to Adrian who will be continuing on to compete at the state level next month!!!

 

Tomorrow (2/18) will be our next Math Olympiad competition.  All are welcome to come demonstrate your mathematical problem solving skills!

 

Mrs. Desmond’s second quarter ceramics students, 8A Annapolis: Last call, please come after school today, tomorrow or Thursday to glaze your pottery.  Your glazed pieces will be put in the kiln to be fired this Friday (2/20).
