Halloween Costume Contest at the TRMS Library

What – On Halloween Day, bring a costume to school that is based on a
character from a book you have read that is in the TRMS Library. If you sign up
for this contest, right before your lunch period that day you will put on your
costume and come to the library to be videotaped along with the book you
represent. In the video you will tell the name of the book and the character from
that book you represent and why you chose to dress as that character.

Where – TRMS Library and Video Lab

When – During Your Lunch period on Halloween Day; Thursday October 31st.

How/Logistics of contest-

1.
Sign up in the library to enter the costume contest before Halloween Day.

Costumes must be approved
in advance by Ms. W and NO face paint allowed.

2.
You may bring your costume and change into it right before coming to the
library to make a video.

3.
Lunch will be provided in the library for participants.

4.
Change back into regular clothes before returning to your classes.

5.
The videos will be shown the following week during lunch in the cafeteria and
kids will vote for their favorite costumes.

6.
The costume with the most votes from each grade will win a gift card to shop at
Barnes & Nobles that is worth $15.00; 2nd and 3rd prize winners from each
grade will win Dunkin Donuts gift cards.
