Atkinson’s Julie Hammond and Kate Delfino Working Toward School Improvement

Superintendent Dr. Earl Metzler wishes to thank Atkinson’s Julie Hammond and Kate Delfino for their ongoing efforts in promoting school improvement. Both currently serve on the Timberlane Budget Committee; Mrs. Delfino previously served on the School Board.

They, along with District administrators Deb Armfield and Christi Michaud, will head the newly formed TPAF, the Timberlane Parents Advisory Forum, which is charged with providing a forum for parents of Timberlane students to share their concerns and offer feedback to District leaders regarding program, curriculum and instruction.

TPAF’s first meeting will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM in the SAU Boardroom. The first topic of the TPAF is to discuss options for new school start times. District administration is seeking parent input and feedback regarding the various options to be presented. School leaders will be available to speak to the impacts each new school start option may have.

Future agenda topics to be presented by the school district will be generated by parents. Please email topics of interest or concern to Email. Dates, times, and locations of future meetings will be posted at: https://public.timberlane.net/projects/paradv/default.aspx.

All parents of Timberlane students are invited to attend these meetings.
