BAND’S PRACTICE FOR BEATING THE HEAT

September 9, 2015

We will continue to monitor the temperature as we prepare for our opening home performance this Friday as well as for all of performances throughout the season.  This includes making every effort to continue to remind students to bring water and sunscreen to the field as well as encouraging them to wear a hat.  A good number of students take advantage of a quick change before going to the field.  We will continue to encourage appropriate dress for the weather and will continue to allow any student who wishes to change, plenty of time to do so.

We will continue to evaluate the weather each day and will adjust our outside time and intensity level as needed. The safety of all students remains at the forefront of all District priorities; however, we remind parents that they are the final decision-makers when it comes to the safety of their children.

Thank you for your continued support!
