NECAP SCIENCE PROFICIENCY LEVELS INCREASE IN ALL TESTED GRADES

The Timberlane Regional School District is pleased to announce that 2014-15 Science NECAP scores have increased in grades 4, 8, and 11.

Grade 4 has increased by 13% proficient or advanced
Grade 8 has increased by 4% proficient or advanced
Grade 11 as increased by 8% proficient or advanced

The District will continue to focus on increasing student proficiency in inquiry skills and is enthusiastic about a newly adopted Science curriculum which is in the first year of implementation.

The Superintendent would like to commend and congratulate the instructional staff, support staff and administrative staff for their continued commitment to increase rigor and student achievement.

An official report of these findings will be presented to the school board at their October 15th board meeting.
