Superintendent Accepts Offer to Extend Contract

SAU 55 is pleased to announce the Superintendent of Schools and the SAU Board have agreed in principle to the terms of a contract extension to the year 2022.
Dr. Metzler states, “I am extremely fortunate for the overwhelming show of confidence and support demonstrated by the Boards that I work for. I would like to thank the supportive community members and staff for their countless emails, phone calls and personal messages regarding this long term commitment. We will continue to increase rigor, improve evaluation and accountability while focusing on the necessary support to elevate student achievement.
