Food Service Program Serves Up a Profit

February 18, 2016

Food service financials ending January 2016 reflect a positive program balance of $19, 204. This time last year the program was running at a deficit of $361.

Dr. Metzler attributes this increase to the effective and efficient operations of the Whitsons and Timberlane food service partnership.  As labor, benefits, and food costs continue to rise, our partnership has continued to find ways to offer the very best food service program to the students, staff and taxpayer.

Furthermore, he commends the work of our wonderful kitchen staff and managers as well as district-wide Whitsons manager, Mr. John Fratiello.

Great job Whitsons and Timberlane!
