Superintendent Establishes Enrichment Advisory Committee

Dr. Metzler is pleased to announce the creation of the Superintendent’s Enrichment Advisory Committee. The committee will be chaired by the Executive Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Professional Learning Debra Armfield, the Director of Data, Assessment and Accountability Christi Michaud, and the Dean of Enrichment, RTI, Reading and Freshman Academy Jennifer Clark, who will report recommendations directly to the Superintendent. Committee membership will include Dean of STEM Mark Pedersen, Middle School Assistant Principal Michael Flynn, Middle School Librarian Heather Chang, Atkinson Academy Enrichment Teacher Pam Dulong, and Sandown North Technology Teacher Justin Bentley-Melle.

The mission and purpose of the Advisory Committee will be to study and make recommendations relative to district enrichment programs and the integration of 21^st Century Skills and STEAM education K-12 (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics).
