The Timberlane Regional School District hosted their inaugural Family STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Night on Tuesday, December 4th with much success! Over 500 members of the public attended this event to learn about STEAM, local businesses and industry, and to participate in STEAM based activities. Our outstanding exhibitors engaged the children (and adults) through the many hands-on activities and provided them an opportunity to see first-hand the number of future STEAM options that await them at the TRMS, TRHS, and beyond. The evening was a huge success thanks to the great effort of community members, Timberlane staff members, and student volunteers. We are proud of the work that went into this event and are so pleased with the turnout, that we have already begun planning for next year’s event! Please let us know if you’d like to partner with us on this initiative by emailing Mr. Mark Pedersen at mark.pedersen @timberlane.net.
