Superintendent’s Office to Offer Space as Cooling Center

July 18, 2019

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Earl Metzler announces the lower floor of the Superintendent’s Office will be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, July 20th for area residents looking to take shelter from the heat as temperatures are expected to rise to 100 degrees or greater.

The air-conditioned facility will offer a full kitchen, bathrooms, and large seating area. Wifi and cable television will also be available.

Patrons should park at the rear of the building and enter through the back door.

Dr. Metzler recognizes the need for community members to support one another and he welcomes this opportunity to do so.
