The Business Administrator (chief finance officer) is responsible for all business and accounting operations for SAU55 and the Hampstead and Timberlane Regional school districts. This includes all activities associated with payroll, accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, reporting, and budget development as well as the ongoing monitoring and improving of internal controls that ensure the proper administration of public funds.

The Director of Human Resources oversees the administration of benefits to approximately 1, 500 active staff members and 375 retirees of the districts of Hampstead, Timberlane and SAU 55. These benefits include life, dental and medical insurances, short and long term disability plans, 403b and 457 programs, flexible spending accounts, etc. Other responsibilities of the Human Resource Director include serving on the districts’ negotiation teams (there are currently five collective bargaining agreements), conducting investigations of personnel and labor matters in partnership with the Assistant Superintendent, implementation of the hiring process for all staff members, and governmental reporting. Ms. Louiselle strives to effectively administer benefit plans to all eligible staff members and makes it a priority to foster a district-wide attitude that promotes the fair and equal treatment of all employees.


SAU Operations and Transportation

The responsibilities of the Transportation Coordinator are to design and develop safe and efficient school bus routes for both the Hampstead and Timberlane School Districts.  This is accomplished by working closely with district transportation vendors to assure District and student’s needs are being met.  The two school districts manage a combined total of 38 regular route buses a day, along with several special education buses as well as buses for extra-curricular activities.
